Brut Chicken Compost is high in organic matter which is essential to healthy soils. When added to soil, organic matter breaks down over time releasing minerals and nutrients.
Beneficial microbes perform the work of breaking down organic matter. The microbes communicate with the roots to bring them the nutrients they need. In return, the roots give the microbes exudates. In other words, there is a symbiotic relationship between plant roots and the microbes and this is the foundation of a healthy, living soil.
New Indoor Plants
· Gently mix a 1:5 ratio of Brut Chicken Compost into your soil before inserting the plant.
Existing Indoor Plants
· Sprinkle a cup of Brut Chicken Compost around the base of the plant.
New Outdoor Plants
· Spread Brut Chicken Compost evenly and work them into the soil before planting your flower bed or garden.
· Use 30 pounds per 100 square feet.
· For new trees and shrubs, place a cup of Brut Chicken Compost in the hole before planting.
Existing Outdoor Plants
· Sprinkle Brut Chicken Compost around the base of the plant. Use 12 pounds per 100 square feet.
· For existing trees and shrubs spread Brut Chicken Compost on the ground above the roots. Use 30 pounds per 100 square feet.
Lawns - New and Existing
· Spread Brut Chicken Compost on the ground and work them into the soil if possible. Use 30 pounds per 1,000 square feet.
For every situation, Apply 2-3 times per year for optimal results.
